We’re excited to announce that we are recruiting for round 04 of the GRAVITY Challenge.

Since its inception in Australia in 2019, the Challenge has grown from strength to strength. With GRAVITY 01 and 02 completed, and GRAVITY 03 underway, we’re continuing our fight to solve real world industrial, social and environmental problems using space data and capability. Whether you’ve participated in the Challenge before, or are new to the program, we want to take you on the journey. By participating in GC04, you will join the 350+ innovators, 28 corporate challengers, 19 sponsors and 6 data and technology providers who have contributed to our community in the past 3 years.

What is the GRAVITY Challenge?

The GRAVITY Challenge is a global technology innovation program for corporates, entrepreneurs, and universities to design and build solutions to a range of problems in a wide range of sectors. From mining and energy resources, to banking and insurance, to agriculture and meteorology and more, the GRAVITY Challenge brings together businesses, government agencies, start-ups, entrepreneurs and subject matter experts to create solutions to some of society’s biggest issues. Why should you join GRAVITY?

If you’re an organisation with a problem to be solved, or a space enthusiast with in-demand skills, we are looking for a range of groups to be involved in GC04.

Challengers - register here if are you an organisation with a compelling business problem where space data could assist in providing the solution.

Innovators – register here if are you are part of a team who wants to contribute to solving some of the world’s biggest issues. As innovators you’ll receive:

·         Access to current and over 20 years historical satellite data from Airbus, AWS, Digital Earth Australia, OHB and Spire.

·         Corporate and public sector sponsorship of each industry challenge – real use cases and real customers

·         Mentorship and support from Deloitte and AWS technology and venture building experts

·         IP ownership of the solution developed during the program

·         Access to commercialisation strategy and incubation support for winning teams following the event to help scale offerings in market

When does GC04 start?

We are accepting Challenge submissions till the 29 October 2021.

We are taking expressions of interest for Innovator participation now - please register here.

Applications for innovator teams will open in mid-January 2022 and GC04 will commence in early February 2022. GC04 will end in late June 2022.
