Champions chosen to pilot space-powered solutions to real world problems

Champions awarded in Deloitte’s global space technology innovation program, GRAVITY Challenge, which pairs innovators with organisations to provide cutting-edge solutions to real-world issues using space technology and capability.

Over the past six months, the innovator teams have been working closely with organisations to ideate solutions to challenges being faced in industries such banking, transport, insurance and marine conservation. From helping banking customers in the UK measure their carbon footprint, to delivering on-the-spot natural disaster payments in Japan, space technology and capability is at the centre of all solutions.

Now in its fourth round, 34 teams applied to participate in GRAVITY this January. From the eight teams invited to collaborate with organisations over the past few months, five teams have now been selected  to move to a proof of concept (PoC) with their relevant organisation.

Thank you to our Challenge Providers, Data Providers and GRAVITY mentors who helped and supported the teams throughout this round as they created their innovative solutions.
